Why?
The Together Initiative is to further the mission of CFCC to bring people to the loving salvation through Jesus Christ. The initiative is a spiritual and financial journey to deepen us together as we put our faith and trust in the Lord to prepare the way to ultimately construct a family life center.
What?
The Together initiative has developed as we've grown and will hopefully someday fund a new sign, windows, or possibly even a new building. Together will create flexible meeting spaces and Community Gathering areas both inside and outside of our church.

A Letter from the Pastor
The word "family" is a huge part of our church's identity. In a culture where the concept of family is under attack, we wanted to be a church that redefined the word "family". CFCC strives to offer the world around us a new option of what family should look like - one led by our Heavenly Father. We want to be known as a friendly, accepting, merciful and loving family. A family that learns right from the perfect guideline manual...the Bible. I believe we are getting this right.
In four short years we have become what we believe the Lord has always wanted a family to look like. Starting with less than forty people, we have grown to over 350. There have been over 150 baptisms and over twenty life groups that meet weekly. The God we serve is truly a rewarder of those who sincerely seek Him. He's proven Himself over and over to our "family". Just like many families, we don't get everything right, but we do it together. I can't help but think about how many more people could use a little bit of the new identity of "family" that we get to experience here. God has been so good to us, and I know He wants to use us to do even mightier things than we have experienced already!
This is why I am excited to embark on a project as an entire family TOGETHER. This is an initiative for all of us - we will grow spiritually and improve our trust in the Lord.
Can you imagine what the generations to come might say about ours because we simply said, "God we will trust You again to do something so big, that the only way it can be described will be to point to you?"
As a kid I envisioned the church being a place for everyday life. Not just the place to come on Sundays for some songs, a message and communion. All great things of course, but could you imagine if those family members we see on Sunday were the ones we also did things with during the week? I dream of parents schooling their kids, pulling their talents and resources together. I dream of having a gymnasium where there are activities happening every day to change strangers into family. I dream of a Family Life Center and I would imagine many of you might have as well.
Together we can make these dreams happen. However, this has to start by paying off the loan on the land where the family life center would be built. I'm excited about investing in something alongside all of our members. This effort will take all of us. Some of us have been blessed in the area of finances more than others and this Together effort will take not equal gifts but equal sacrifice. You can see many places in scripture where the heart of the gift was measured more by God than the size of it. This can be seen in Mark 12:41-44 with the Widow and her two small coins. This is an example of how we can show our heart of Faith. Stephanie and I have already begun to determine where we will sacrifice to help this together initiative. How could we not? Every time we have stepped out in faith God showed up bigger in our lives. This was not always financially, but in blessings for sure.
We serve a God who wants
to reward our Faith.
If our goal is to have a place to attract the outside Community to the family of God, I have full faith that He will provide - then reward. Let's show we trust Him enough to do something special in Homosassa and the areas around us using our family. We seek to do all of this to make disciples and build Christian families.
Will you join Stephanie and I one more time in faithfully trusting in what God has the capability of doing when we seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness?
